New Video Module Assignment Testing - Jun 23

Read the full release notes for the new Video module assignment test feature below.

New video module assignment test

We have created new functionality for our assigned learning feature, now you can add a test to Video Module based assigned learning.

This new functionality will allow you to enable testing for video based assignments, tracking your teams knowledge retention of the assigned learning.

Tests for video based assignments are not mandatory, and can be enabled when creating a video module assignment. In order for the Test to become available a minimum set of criteria must be met. After adding the required number of video modules the test function will become active and can then be toggled on to be enabled.

Please note that tests can not be retroactively applied to existing video module assignments nor added after a video module assignment has been created. The tests will be comprised of a set of questions taken from the video modules within the assignments, when a learner takes a test the questions will be randomised from the set of video modules and may be different each time the test is taken.

After enabling a test, this will change the completion requirements of the assignment, with the test enabled, learners will need to pass the test for the assignment to be marked as complete, the test will follow the existing test structure in platform for our Pathways and require a score of 70% to pass.

Learners completing the test assignment

For learners receiving the new format of assignment, the test will now appear in the assignment card, found in their team learning page. Like our Pathways the test will only be unlocked after all video modules in the assignment have been watched, and also like our Pathways the test can be re-taken as many times as required by the learner.
