Learning isn’t one-size-fits-all. That’s why, as of August 2025, we’ve expanded Managed Learning with new tools that make it easier to engage learners, plan assignments, and keep your content fresh.

What’s New?

Managed Learning now includes:

Recommended Learning – Suggest content without deadlines. Perfect for nudging learners with evergreen or trending topics.

Draft Mode – Build, save, and refine learning assignments before launch. Collaborate with colleagues and avoid one-and-done setups.

Archive Status – Retire old learning from the learner view while keeping full reporting and analytics.

Dedicated Pages – Every assignment (Assigned or Recommended) now has its own shareable page with a unique link.

UX Overhaul – Assigned vs. Recommended learning are clearly separated in new tabs, making navigation simpler for both managers and learners.

Why It Matters

These updates give managers more flexibility, learners more autonomy, and everyone a cleaner, more focused experience. Highlights include:

Re-engage learners with smart, no-pressure recommendations.

Keep dashboards clutter-free while retaining all historical data.

Share learning links across internal comms, intranets, or LMS.

Set up campaigns faster with draft and collaboration options.

Where Can I Find It?

These updates give managers more flexibility, learners more autonomy, and everyone a cleaner, more focused experience. Highlights include:

Managers: Access Draft Mode, Archive, and assignment links in the Manager Dashboard under Managed Learning.

Learners: Find new Assigned and Recommended tabs in your dashboard, each with a clearer, mobile-friendly layout.

Analytics & Reporting: All activity from Assigned and Recommended learning is fully tracked and visible in reporting exports.

FAQs

What’s the difference between Assigned and Recommended Learning?

Assigned Learning is mandatory, comes with a due date, and progress is tracked against deadlines.

Recommended Learning is optional, has no deadlines, and is designed to encourage self-directed exploration.

Can I still see old learning assignments?

Yes. Managers can access all past assignments and their data in reporting. Learners, however, will no longer see archived assignments in their dashboard.

Will learners get notified about Recommended Learning?

Yes — Recommended Learning appears in a dedicated tab, clearly separated from mandatory assignments.

Does Draft Mode affect reporting?

No. Drafts are invisible to learners and not included in analytics until they are published.

Are Dedicated Pages secure?

Yes. Each page has a unique link but requires the learner to be logged in, ensuring secure access at all times.
